Today you will visit Jama Masjid-the country’s largest mosque, visit Chandni Chowk and spice market & enjoy Rickshaw Ride in Chandni chowk, then visit the elegant but imposing Red Fort, Raj Ghat-a memorial to Mahatma Gandhi, Humayun’s tomb-Delhi’s finest example of Mughal architecture, the famous Lotus Temple of the Baha’i faith, the medieval workmanship of Qutub Minar, The Parliament House, The President House and India Gate. This morning after breakfast you will be transferred to Mughal city Agra. Agra is a major tourist destination in North India because of its many Mughal-era buildings, most notably the Taj Mahal, Agra Fort and Fatehpur Sikri, all these three are UNESCO World Heritage Sites. On arrival check in to your hotel. After fresh n up you will visit the famous Taj Mahal-the symbol of love, built by Emperor Shah Jahan in memory of his wife Mumtaz Mahal. (Taj Mahal Remains Closed on Every Friday) Later, visit the Agra fort, built by the great Emperor Akbar and the tomb of Etimad-ud-Daula often described as Jewel Box or the Baby Taj and is regarded as a draft of the Taj Mahal. This morning after breakfast you can visit the Birla Temple & the famous Monkey Temple (Galta Ji). Later, you will be transferred back to Delhi to board your train to Varanasi. By evening you will be dropped at the New Delhi Railway Station to board your train to Varanasi. Train No. 02560 Shiv Ganga Express departure from New Delhi at 20:05 hrs. arriving in Varanasi at 06:25 hrs. Overnight on the train.
On arrival at Varanasi Railway Station, pick up and transfer to the hotel. (Early Check in will be subject to availability). This evening visit the holy Ganges to see the grand Ganges Aarti (Lamp Ceremony) on banks of river Ganges. Ganga aarti is a fire ritual, performed to show gratitude to the river and ask for its blessings. It involves chanting, bells, fire, flowers, and more. Every evening around sunset, hundreds of people gather at Dasaswamedh Ghat to witness the Ganga Aarti of Varanasi. The aarti is performed on a stage by seven young priests.
